The other parameter of digital marketing is content marketing. It includes the sharing of videos, blogs, social media posts, memes and other online materials that do not promote a brand but intend to attain the interest of people.

4. Social Media Marketing

Social media marketing uses social media sites like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc. With the increasing popularity of social media, the craze for social media marketing is also rising. Social media marketing targets a large audience in a short time.

5. Pay per click (PPC)

In Pay per click method, the advertisers pay each time when a user clicks on the link. Technically, it is the process of buying visitors for your website. PPC is one of the methods of search engine marketing.

6. Affiliate Marketing

You must have encountered such persons who take commissions of completing a task for others. Affiliate marketing is just like that. It is a type of marketing in which the owner increases its sales by letting others do the same task for him. The affiliate earns money on the sale of products without even creating products of their own.

7. Email marketing

Email marketing is the marketing of products through emails. The product owner buys the email-id of the people and then, send the emails in bulk. Most of these emails go in the promotions, while some in the spams.
