I have bought a pen drive some days ago. It was working well, better service and high speed. I gave it to one of my friends and after getting it back, I inserted it to the USB port. But the system cannot detect this mini drive. It shows the following message "port is not available for this drive".

I have a headphone, model cosonic CT-737. Motherboard Intel, Processor Dual core. Always I hear music through headphone. I also use it when I talk to my yahoo messenger friends.

But I am having with a problem when I try to use it in Skype and Gtalk. I can listen my friends voice but they can't. It might have told that is a problem with the output jack if had worked in yahoo messenger. In view of the fact that it works on yahoo messenger but not on Gtalk and Skype.

Now I don't know in which category I will submit this question to get perfect and instant answer. This problem is for what?

At the office, we have 2 divisions and one of the divisions had purchased a backup server. I installed a backup software in each laptop/desktop  to synchronize with the server so that the software can automatically backup the server without help from the users. This is needed since most users are not exactly following the latest technology updates.

The other divisions were also permitted to backup the server but they need to purchase their own HDD and then the HDD will be added to the same server. The server is Dell PowerVault, if I'm not mistaken. My boss wants me to organize it, so the other divisions can start backing up their files to the server. 

I have an email account and only I know the password and account is not compromised as far as I know. I have changed the password also, a few days ago. But I am receiving lots of emails, saying they removed me from mailing list. Are these just jokes or is the PC infected with some kind of a virus. I have some important mails in my account, related to banking also and don't want anyone to get access to those mails. I cannot delete my email id because its associated with my bank and some sites too. What do I do next? I have been receiving lots of mails and its creating a problem for me to read important mail. I don't have any mail client installed on my computer also. Tell me how to stop these large number of mails.

I was wondering if you can help me with a problem. My office is using a PBX phone system from Panasonic and although it's working just fine, my boss thinks that it's not exactly suitable for the office anymore. We're looking for alternatives, for a new PBX system; when one of my colleagues mentioned about IP Phones from Cisco. The problem is, I have never used an IP Phones before. So I kind of lost on the system.

I  Bought a laptop ( hp pavilion dv6114tx ) before 3 years. But after one year its better backup suddenly decreased.

I bought new battery thinking that there is problem with battery (as suggested by Hp customer care).

Better was working good till last 6 months. Now i upgraded my operating system from Microsoft windows media center to Microsoft windows 7 ultimate edition. Whenever i try to play some file in VLC media player its performance gets decreased and it starts hanging.

After a reboot it works as normal but whenever i play some music file or try to play some games its getting hang.

Is there any configuration problem in windows 7 which i have to setup for performance?

The laptop is actually used by another person for daily activities, while I use a desktop for work. I have created a Windows Server ( Windows Server 2003 ) for Active Directory and joined both desktop and laptop to the domain.

I have a server with Windows 2003 Server installed and inside the server, I installed several applications and one of them is MS SQL Server. I'm using MS SQL Server for a custom desktop application that I developed and for some time everything works great with no problem whatsoever.

Lately, I'm considering changing the database from MS SQL Server to MySQL so, I can access the database from around the world. Unfortunately, it means I need to adjust some things to make the desktop application work fine using MySQL like when it used MS SQL Server for the database. Using the same desktop application I can access and manipulate databases inside MySQL without having to develop new applications for it.

I have a database mdf file and log file. I need to attach those files again in the database. As my SQL server is new, this database is not there. But I don’t know exactly how to attach a database.
