I am using a broadband internet connection.

But from some days I feel my connection is a bit slower than before.

I check the connection with another computer. It is ok there.

But this is not working on my computer. What is the problem, I can not find out?

Can anyone tell me its remedy?

I am using opera browser. I am downloading a file through opera. Suddenly my net is disconnected. The download is not completed successfully. It downloads only 90% data of the file.

I forget the link from where I am downloading. I need to retrieve that file again. Is there any way to retrieve the file and start download from that previous state?

It will be great help for me if you can tell me the way.

I'm working in a small firm, a Computer training center, which has few computers. I have to show these computers for serving. Recently I installed,  Windows 7 on these PCs. But I face a problem, that Window 7 starts automatically updates.

For this reason I closed our Internet connection for a short  time. But I need a permanent solution. Please help me. How can I stop Windows 7 automatic update on our Office PC's. I want total solution.  How to close Windows 7 automatic update.

I am a native computer user. I used my own computer from the last several months. There is a beep sound at the time of starting the computer. Sometimes there are two short beeps. When it beeps one time, then the computer starts without an error. But in the case of two beeps some settings are changed like date time setting of computer.

Is this any vital problem or error?

I am quite tense about this.

I have my own scanner. Scanners need to install a driver in computer. I also install the required driver. Few days back, I install my operating system again. This time I cannot install the driver because I lost my driver’s back up. I need to find out the driver. I tried locally but no one can find me one. I search over net but I can’t understand which perfect driver for my scanner is.

Hello I am studying computer science. I need to do group programming work on computers with my partners. But we live separate hostels. You even can not connect our computers with LAN connection. We need to solve this problem. We need a way to access our computers easily. I need to work in his computer as well as he needs to work on my computer to find out the problems. Can it be happened? Is there any way to do this? Please help us out. 

I am experiencing quite a strange thing with my PC. Nobody around has experienced it or even heard of it. The problem is that my screen freezes when left idle for about 30 minutes. I have to keep a video or music file playing to avoid the problem. When i leave it idle for 30 minutes, the screen freezes and locks up completely.

The only way to get out of this situation is to press the power button in until the PC shuts down. You can then restart it and i will function well, but the idleness is a problem. I am wasting most of my time rebooting and waiting for the windows to load. I am a busy man and time is a really precious commodity for me.

Sometimes I feel to shut down computer immediately but the normal way to shut down computer is not happened immediately.

It takes time.

I am using Windows XP operating system.

Is there any way to shut down computer immediately?

I can pull out the plug or hold the power key but as per as I know it is harmful for computer hardware.

So is there any other way which is not harmful for computer.

Tell me if you know any.
