Questions Solved
Hi,
I have some problems and hopefully you can shed some light on it.
I have tried to recover some deleted files and it was quite a lot of files and have different extension (.mdb, .accdb, .pptx, etc) unfortunately plenty of them are corrupted.
For image files, when I tried to double click via Picasa there's an error message 'Image Not Valid' and when I tried to open using Paint, the error message was 'Paint cannot read this file. This is not a valid bitmap file, or is not currently supported.' I have tried opening them using Photoshop, the error message was 'Could complete your request because the jpeg marker segment length is too short (the file maybe truncated or incomplete).

Hello!
I have a problem with my Yahoo Messenger. Whenever I chat, my nickname and everything that I write did not show up in the chat window. Whenever someone tried to chat with me, there are no typing or writing being shown up in the chat window.
At first, I thought the colors of the font was accidentally set to white. So, I went and checked it, but it's not the case apparently. I tried to remove Yahoo Messenger and reinstalled it, but still no such luck. I tried to install the latest version, but the problem still exists. Some of my friends told me that it was probably infected with virus. Another friend told me that it was probably something to do with corrupted flash player.

I am trying to run ipconfig command in XP operating system but only getting an error message “The request is not supported. Please contact Microsoft support services for further help. Additional information: Unable to query routing information.” I have done the same thing many times before.
I was looking for registry error, but no registry error was found. I have searched on different windows forum and also asked my friends to sort out this problem but so far all of them disappoint me. One of my friends told me to check up the firewall setting but I found it perfect. Does anybody have any idea what was happened? What to do to resolve the issue?

I have been running Microsoft office 2003 in my notebook and never saw this type of strange looking message.
When I try to open an office document a pop up message saying that windows installer is preparing to install the package.
I have to wait around a minute to open the file. I don’t understand what type of program required installing time and time again to run office program.
I thought it could be the result of corrupted system file and reinstall the office program. But same message does appear again.
What else can I do?
I am going mad about this problem. Are you familiar with the message?

I used to enjoy Internet Explorer for web browsing. But transformed into a regular Firefox user for last couple of months. I have found Firefox very useful and user friendly interface especially I love the add-ons option. But I am facing a little problem and can’t find any solution.
Suddenly the font size of the web site turns much smaller then before. I have no idea how it happened. I have tried to get back the old font size by re-installing the software again and installing new fonts but nothing has changed.
Do you have any idea to rectify this problem?

One of my friends is working in a multinational company as a system engineer and very often he call me to solve different networking and server related problem because I am an IT professional too. Yesterday he called me as usual to get my help and the summary of the problem is that network connecting drops several times in each day.
In his office more then 15 computers are connected through a switch. The service only resume after restarting the switch. He already tried to fix the problem by replacing a brand new switch but it still exists. I have never seen these types of networking problem that’s why I came here for the solution.
Hope to see a reply on this thread very soon.
