Hello,

There are scores of applications (e.g., tcplay, Luksus, RealCrypt, etc.) that can be used to manipulate files created or altered using Truecrypt.  These applications are available across all operating systems.  It does not matter which operating system the file was encrypted in.  It can be managed on any operating system similar to many other files.  Consult the Ubuntu and Debian websites for encryption software packages.
