Networking
I would like to know whether it is possible to connect many computers by one wireless router. If it is possible then how to configure the settings to connect the computers. I also like to know the possibilities of using one IP address for all computers.

Hi,
I would like to know some information about our cyber security. I have some questions that I need someone to answer for me.
Does anyone know who is accountable for developing and maintaining the cross-functional duties of cyber security? Is this a serious threat to our business? What are the “values at stake” in case a breach occurs? What are the terms that we can give to our partners and customers as an assurance to the privacy of their work? It is very critical to be sure of the privacy of our clients’ information and that’s why, it is very important to know how to secure them.

Hi,
We are moving to a new building and are taking up two floors. We would like to set up a link from the phone extension of the first floor to our IP 500 server.
Can we set up these links? We have an Avaya IP 500 system with no licensing VOIP unlike our Apex.
My question is, will these uplinks be enough to transfer a call below the extension? Or do we still need a hardware or software to be installed for the same?

Hi,
My organization would like to have a VOIP phone system, for the network but our firewall does not support the connection from the phone. To adjust it, we manually created an exception on the firebox on our 5060 TCP using a wizard. While doing this, we encountered another problem. There is a firewall on our Entopic modem and we cannot disable it through our ISP.
So, we decided to create a pinhole through our modem for TCP 5060. This did not solve our problem.
We are having a hard time creating a pinhole because before we could get through it, the pinhole will first go through a firebox firewall and every time the pinhole is used, it always asks for an IP address.

Hi,
I have been having a computer network problem for the past one year now. The problem is, my computer network hangs ups from time to time and this is owed to the domain or main file server. I already checked the utilities of AD and DNS and have also tried DENS error events like 4015 and 4004 but it turns out to be ok. I think the server is also having a hard time. What advice can you offer me?

I got a ASUS G50VT series Notebook and I recently restored it back to its factory settings. From then on its connectivity has not
been steady.
The signal however indicates that the connection is good. It connects well but after every two (2) to five (5) minutes it
disconnects, it keeps on going like that even when I am near the router or some distance from the router.
Although when I am directly connected to the router through a cable it works fine but when I am using the wireless mode it gets unsteady.
I don’t know if the problem is being caused by the connectivity settings on the laptop.
Any help please?

Hello there!
I have a question regarding installation of internet.
I will move to a new house in a few weeks and I want my computers to be connected to the Internet without having to use a router.
I was wondering if DSL is a better option for me.
I also want every room in the house to have Internet access should I have DSL installed and I need to know if I have to pay extra if to make that possible.
What I am aware of is that I need to pay extra should I have the Internet accessible through a router and I am hoping that having DSL would avoid me of this problem.
Also, can you give suggestions on where I could look for reliable DSL connections including the cables and modems I could use?
Thank you very much…
