I am needing a very good online backup service, so any suggestions guys for what will be the best online backup services? I have lots of personal files that needs to be backup, and I would like to begin with it ASAP, files are mostly family pictures, videos and some not that important documents.

I then noted that HDD's are  low cost value nowadays, but I still want an off-site backup in the instance of some sort of disaster (fire, flood, etc.) Carbonate? Well I heard something about there services but I really don't know if that is...

I used FaceBook before for my friends, but using it for couple of months seems that I it not that safe. I have seen something that supposed to be change in their privacy agreements, right? The purpose for that is, that I am facing many problems, from the day I installed the software on my computer. However, soon after I started facing problems, I just uninstalled the particular software that I expected to cause the problem. But still I am facing trouble here. My friend and I need to transfer a file to each other. She is trying to send me 11 GB. It is not that heavy file. Is there any suggestion on what will be the best, fastest and easiest way we can do sharing and sending files?

We tried to use the TeamViewer FTP but the estimation is 2.5 days. Currently, it's running through MSN for it seems that it is not running much slower than 2.5 day estimate. It is very slow, and we are running out of time. 

Is there any easy way to allocate a priority bandwidth to this transfer? Is there any...

I've created and developed a home server so I decided and choose to go ahead and put it downstairs in a closet with the modem and wireless router.

To complete so I had to run cat6 from the closet to my desktop up stairs and also a run from the closet towards the apple television within the living room. I finished everything up and set up the apple TV to pull or drag all my movies from the server just fine, I also got all our laptops to connect to the internet just fine also.

But my desktop won't connect towards...

I use a Dual boot in my laptop, that is Windows XP and Windows 7.  I am facing a problem with MS Word 2007 on Windows 7, where I am not able to edit any .doc files; they became read only files. But I don’t find the problem with XP, where the same files are working properly. I have 100’s of documents like this, which are Read only in Windows 7.
