Help me out to do System Restore

If you feel that you need to restore the computer, to the last known good configuration; yes, it can be done. But before that I would like to suggest, you to check your computer for any viruses through the Antivirus software that you have on your computer. Just initiate a complete scan and try to heal all the bugs that you see. After that, try to restart your computer. Now check out if you still have the problem. If yes, then we may go ahead and revert your computer to the day when it worked fine.

 

Yes reverting back the computer to specific date is possible.

 

To do so, just click on Start from the Main screen. Now click on All Programs and then click on Accessories; Option In that, you may see something called as System tools just click on that. Inside the System tool you may see an option which says System Restore, click on that.

 

You may see the system restore window appears. On that click on Next. Then you may see the recently installed items and also you will be able to select the date from when you need to revert back your computer.

 

You may also select restore point. You may find how to do that, by clicking on the link that is available on the window, which tells you about setting up the restore point. Finally give finish. You may find the computer restarting and on the boot time it says the computer is restoring back to Specified days back. Leave it to run fully, where after the completion it may take you to the main screen automatically.

 

This is how you do a system restore. You can also set up backup dates for safety.
