My internet connection keeps dropping intermittently.

It started about a month back and still goes on. Resetting my router or taking the Ethernet cable off the PC, corrects the problem but it's very annoying at times.

The connection drops for like, every half an hour or so and then I have to physically correct it. At first, I thought it was a hardware problem so I changed the router and then tried another Ethernet cable but the problem still persists.

I am using an Intel core2duo processor on an Intel board with 4gb ram and a Nvidia 9800gt graphics card installed.

I have Windows Vista Home premium and recently I updated it to service pack 2. Before updating I used to write my backup CDs almost every week and they worked perfectly fine but after the updates, I am having a problem when I write them. The Windows gives me a message saying.

One morning I powered on my computer, upon the appearing of the desktop screen, in the task bar where they show programs that are running there was a program running and its name is AmIcoSinglun. I try to right click on it, the menu won’t show up, also it doesn’t respond to left clicking.
