My Xperia Z tablet came with 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and I've been trying to update the software version to Kitkat. If I click refresh software, it tells me my software is up to date, but I know I can upgrade to Kitkat. Can I manually download and update the update to my phone? 

I bought an external HDD from Toshiba to serve as a backup storage of my laptop. I have Windows 7 on the laptop and it doesn't recognize the external hard drive. I can hear the hard drive spinning and the light on it is on, but it is not recognized by the laptop. I tried the other USB ports as well, no go. It's not even under 'Devices and Printers'. Any help would be appreciated.

I get an alert from my Iphone 5s every 5-10 minutes, but when I look at it, there's no call, no voicemail, no message, no notifications at all. I even checked the clock alarms and it was not set. I checked the sound settings, but didn't find anything unusual there. I also checked the other apps to see if there's a notification coming from it. Do you have a suggestion as to what to check? This is really frustrating.

I've been trying to link two PoE switches from Netgear, a GS724TP and GS7728TP. When I activate the link between two switches and have the POE phone plugged in the GS728TP, the phone will not boot. If I remove the link, however, the phone boots up fine. Has anyone else had this issue? Can somebody suggest a fix for this?

My screen on my Latitude E4300 went bad. It just started to flash different colors on my screen while I was working on it. So I shut it down, turned it back on but immediately after booting up to Windows, horizontal lines started to come up. I hooked it up with an external monitor and the problem was also observed. Is there something wrong with my graphics card?

In mobile solutions in printing, there are 3 that I would like to compare; Apple Airprint, Google Cloud Print and Amazon Kindle Fire Printing. What are the advantages of each solution? Are these supported by most printer manufacturers? Is there any particular feature a printer needs to have for these solutions to be applicable to it?

I am using Dell Inspiron 1525 since couple of years and it is working perfectly. Recently, I have started facing some strange issue. When I am watching movies from YouTube or other websites, suddenly the system is getting power off automatically. It happened quite a few times by now and all the time it happened while watching the movies from YouTube or other websites. I have used avast antivirus several times and there is no virus in my system. What could be causing the issue? Please advice on how to identify the problem and rectify the same.

I have a small company and my employees using the internet for personal purposes during break time, etc., We have informed that if one computer get virus all systems will be infected because of the network. But, they are browsing and then deleting the history and hence I couldn't monitor them. Is there any Software which I can use to monitor the networked systems like parental control. Please advise accordingly. Any advise or help will be highly appreciated!!

My kids love games, exploring things and fun. To allow them in browsing I wanted to use web browsers designed for kids. I heard about the kids, Hoopah and NoodleNet. But I am not aware of those as much. I hope these are standalone browsers and doesn't require any other browser installed in the system like IE. Am I correct about this? Can somebody help me to choose a good one?

I am using a Windows 7 laptop. I am not having the Windows Movie Maker. But, I would like to make some video along with the simple text and photos and my own mp3 song playing.
