Questions Solved

Hi my question is related to my monitor BenQ FP767, problem is that it won’t turn on when I press the power button to start it, the LED blinks like every 3 seconds and then no activity what so ever. Although sometimes the LED blinks and you can see the desktop just for a small portion of a second but that doesn’t happen very often.

The reason why I have not scraped it until now is that sometimes it just turns on fine and works for hours until I shut it off. I hope someone can give me some idea as to what the problem is so that I can correct it and not lose more money on another monitor

How to fix a computer that won't turn on?

I'm using my computer for a several hours already and suddenly shut down. I'm trying to open it again but it doesn't open anymore. So I checked the power cords because it might be the problem but it's not. Then I also checked other parts of my computer even inside the CPU and I noticed that once I try to open my computer my optical mouse has no light in it.

What happened to my computer? What is the possible problem of my computer? How will I fix my computer?

Hi,

I have a Sony Vaio E series and my problem is that, sometimes the touch pad of my laptop kind of acts funny. I mean sometimes it will not click (although I can hear the key make the click sound) or else it will not even move the mouse on screen. I have tried to clean the pad with little alcohol and cotton but still no effect.

Also I have updated the software and made sure my laptop has no viruses. Right now I am using an external USB mouse but will be grateful if someone can tell me what the problem is or how to correct it.

Thanks in advance for anyone answering.

Well I was hoping someone can tell me what is the safe temperature for over clocking a Pentium 4 1.8GHZ since I have an Old one at home which I want to over clock.

Also I have read posts which say that to over clock it you just need to mess with the FSB, so is this true or should I change something else as well.

My CPU runs around 48-55C these days, and I have to tell you I do have the option to lock agp and pci speed if that is of any help.

Hello everyone!

I am using a Windows 2003 and I want to connect the 3 computers to the server. I have the IP address, I configure already on the server as well as the 3 computers. When I tried connecting PC1 to the server, it doesn't work? Upon checking the manager properties of the computer, I noticed that the computer name set to Workgroup and it should've been in domain.

How can I change it to domain instead of workgroup?

Do I have to uninstall and install Windows 2003 again to be able to connect to the PC?

I need your opinion thank you.

Hello,

I was wondering if you all can help me with something.

I'm using Microsoft Outlook 2007 with Windows XP 32 bit SP3. Is there any way to create a message that cannot be printed and cannot be edit by the recipients ?

A friend of mine said that it can be done by tinkering with the menu Tools -> Option but I have looked everywhere still didn't give results that I'm looking for. After a little bit 'interrogation', I find out that she was using Microsoft Outlook 2003. Can it be done in Microsoft Outlook 2007 as well ? I have some emails that I need to send and the data in the emails is a bit sensitive so they cannot be printed as hard copy and cannot be edit as well.

This problem is indeed bothering me! It all started when I reformat the computer. On the first day, it works properly but on the second day when i turned on my computer it'll always restart and then it cannot even load the Windows Vista logo. Yes I am using Windows Vista Premium for my computer. But before that happened, i used to install a LAN game after reformatting the computer.

How does this happened? What would be the problem of the computer?

It's getting me worried i don't want my computer will be malfunction.

Post your answers.

Please thank you.

Hello,

I have a laptop with Windows XP SP3 installed and I was using Microsoft Office 2003. Several weeks ago I upgrade the Microsoft Office 2003 to Microsoft Office 2007 but the problem is I'm using custom installation instead of default installation.

In the custom installation I only upgrade Outlook 2003 to Office 2007 and remove the old version but apparently I have misunderstood the installation process so I only remove the Outlook part while keep the old version of Word, Excel, Power Point and after installation I saw both links of Microsoft Office 2003 and Microsoft Office 2007 when I go to Start -> All Programs -> Microsoft Office.
