Questions Solved

When I was studying 8 years ago, we attended a seminar about computer hardwares.

I remember what the speaker told us, he said creating partitions are one of the simplest ways to safety your important files and also for much better arrangement of the files. For example putting all together the very important files inside the Partition A, then all music and videos will be placed at Partition B and lastly the other files in the Partition C.

Now, my question is this: Since it was 8 years ago, I don't remember the steps on how to make partitions.

I am receiving error at the bottom left of my screen. It's randomly appearing without warnings. The error I am receiving is:

I deleted some useless files to be able to have free spaces. When I look in My Computer then right click the C drive and go to Properties I still have a lot of remaining free spaces. I'm running Windows XP Home Edition Service Pack 2 before but now I downloaded an update to make it Service Pack 3.

I am running on Windows XP Service Pack (II). My mouse has developed a series of problems. The cursor does not move and when i start up the computer i get this message.

"PS2 Mouse Initialization Failure".

This message is displayed at POST.

I can’t right click on the computer, leaving me with the option of using tab key to jump between options and to select items.

Sometimes the cursor will move for a couple of seconds before freezing, sometimes it does not make a move at all.

I have checked in the device manager; My Computer > Properties > Hardware Tab > Device Manager.

How disk defragmenter helps the computer?

I have a problem with my computer and that's I cannot run the disk defragmenter due to a corrupt file. I already deleted the said corrupted file and now when I turned on my computer, it always runs the disk check. I wait for the disk check to finished and suddenly it restarts itself. And when the computer restarts, the disk check runs again. Even when I shut it down properly. Is the problem cause by the corrupt file?

Since I was a kid I really like playing computer games, because it brings me a real enjoyment and relaxation at the same time. I am so disappointed because last year after I bought the installer of The Sims 3 game I can't save it into my computer. Every time I'm trying to install the game, in the middle of installation the software requires me to insert the disc 2.

When I insert the disc 2 it will stop or freeze installing saying it can't find the "Sunset Valley.objectCache". I tried to locate manually the "Sunset Valley.objectCache" to continue the installation but still it is not working. Does anyone here already installed this game? I'm looking for someone who can help me to fix my problem.

Hi,

I bought an IPhone from a friend of mine, who frequently complained that the IPhone had a very low battery life. I bought it from him because I wanted an IPhone so badly, that it would be okay for me to spend money on fixing the battery life.

I tried switching off all unnecessary applications and notifications (like GPS, etc), but still my IPhone lasts for only 4 hours of continuous usage. Added to the fact that there is no authorized Apple store in our city, which means that I cannot find professional consultation for my problem.

What should I do?

Thanks.

My Windows 7 has gone to hell due to virus, spyware and Malware activity. My hard disk has almost crashed. So, I took an Antivirus to kill all of the harmful programs. This is Avira Antivirus premium one year.

After I installed it, I can see it is fun.The system is sending me two pesky messages.

Error:

Avira AntiVir Personal – Free Antivirus

CCPLG.XML:

Unable to find file (C:Program FilesAviraAntiVir Desktopccplg.xml)

Messenger Plus! – Installation Altered

Hi,

My aunt bought me an iPod touch from the US last month and it was working properly, even though it was already used before. Now for the 1 month I had the iPod, I cannot count how many times I dropped the device and how many times I overcharged it. Now I cannot scroll using the touch screen. I would like to find a professional to check the problem out, but then the people I consult would tell me, that I need to bring it to an authorized Apple store and apparently, there is no authorized Apple store in our city. Please help. Thanks.

Hello,

I have a TFT-LCD monitor; i have used it for two years without any complications. Last week, it developed some strange complications. This happened after i changed my residence. There monitor may have turned upside down or something worse happened during the movement. After connection to the system unit, i turned on the monitor. It worked normally, but after a few seconds the back-light of the monitor went out. When i shined bright light on the screen i could see the desktop icons and the screen saver. I shut it down and rebooted.
