Questions Solved
My computer is devastated with viruses. Almost my .exe files are infected. I tried to scan it using a free version of the Avast virus scanner but it seems that the repair option doesn't work.
If I try to delete the infected files then things would get bad. M installed programs won't work. I do have an option of reformatting my computer but that would be the last option but if only I could repair the .exe files manually then that would be a better option. By the way the virus is win32/Salit. I don't have an Idea about this virus or where I got it from.

Hi!
I'm not used to have this kind of problem with my modem before, because when I already reached my desktop it will only take 2 minutes for the loading of the internet connection, then I can easily get connected with the internet so good. The problem now? Is when I already reached the Windows 7 Desktop I don't see any signal bars in my modem, its totally zero. I can't say that it is due to internet connection because I have a neighbour that we are using same ISP and it all works fine to her.
I tried to unplug the modem and leave it turned of for one min and plug it again, but it doesn't resolve the issue. Then if I try to run yahoo messenger's troubleshooter it says something about the DNS thingy.

I have an I-Omega external hard drive which I frequently used on my desktop and laptop. It started giving me trouble with a warning of running a slow performance as my USB ports are not up to the mark.
The worst thing is, before my system can detect all other external devices and suddenly, they stopped detecting my external hard drive. My external hard drive is also not showing up in “My Computer” and gives me an error – Disk is not formatted and if you want to format now?
I did not dare to click yes because I have many important data and presentations which I cannot afford to lose. So, when I clicked “NO”, I got a message stating cannot read the drive.
I hope you could help me with this problem.

I have a Dell 700m laptop with internal speaker complications. Sometimes they function well but after a while (random time span) they don’t work at all. This is forcing me to use head phones almost the whole day. I once heard somewhere that putting on head phone for long can head to certain health problems.
I have tried to look for ways to solve the problem. I found some tutorials on the web;

Hello there,
As a new user of llabview website, I want to explore everything that goes with this one. I was trying to communicate with HH506R omega thermometer using serial port communication. Then, I decided to use the parameters (such as Parity, baud rate, sto bits) because it's written in the manual. And luckily, I could write the data from the write string when it responded. But unfortunately, while returning the data, a framing error showed up. Also, I am not getting the read string in terms of ASCII characters.
It's just a random character which I don't know how to convert into ASCII format. I am using the Basic serial write and read VI from NI. Is there any way to convert the hexadecimal into ASCII characters?

Hi,
I have a task that I need to finish. I am not that good in making outputs. Well, I ought to produce a pattern that certainly comprised of four digital outputs, which are pulsed at well outlined timings. I went to a friend of mine and borrowed an NI USB 6341 and accomplished a number of tests. Unluckily, the documentation is extremely poor, and leaves most real technical questions unanswered.
I have some examples of pattern that I need to do :

We have a mail server in the office. All the employees use MS Outlook to send, receive mail. So far there was no problem at all.
Recently one problem occurred. Some employee send mail with attachments, PDF files and others MS Office files too. When they attach a file which is a catalog, it cannot be sent. It always shows an error message while sending. A few days ago, they were able to easily send this type of messages, from other's computer easy. I had it reinstalled using a license copy but the problem is the same. So what’s the problem?

Hi all,
In my office, one computer is running Windows Server 2003. In my office, we have original license copy of Antivirus on all of the computers and Laptops. We randomly use file sharing from another computer.
For this, we configured a Linux server for file sharing. From all computers, we can use file from this Linux server. But from the Windows Server 2003 computer, we can not access Linux file server, but can access any other computer.
What’s the problem?
Thanks.

I use windows XP in my laptop’s, and I use a licensed copy of an Antivirus.
Everything works ok. In our office all laptops and computers get IP address from DHCP server.
I have LAN connection both cable and wireless.
When I use a wireless connection in my laptop there is no problem, but when I connect my network by cable connection, I can’t access others computer.
When I use a wireless connection it works.
It shows an error message that you have no rights to access local network.
This time when cable connection I can access internet. So what’s the problem?
