I would like to install OSX as dual operating system in my Windows XP computer so that I can install and run certain Photo/Video editing software required for my job. Please help me accomplish this. Is there any disadvantage for this?Â
Installing OSX in Windows XP to run photo editing software
Installing a dual boot for Mac OS X and windows XP is not a bad thing, but then there are some things that you will need to be sure of before you do that:
-
First, you will need to make sure that your computer has enough memory space that will be able to support the two operating systems at the same time without slowing down your computer. I will recommend that the computer be having a RAM capacity of not less 4 GB for the dual boot to work properly.
-
You will also need to make sure that you have enough hard disk space on your primary hard drive partition because both of the two operating systems will be residing there.
