I was having trouble loading Microsoft PowerPoint. I was doing a case study and it should be presented through PowerPoint.
As I was loading Microsoft PowerPoint an error interrupted. It stated:Â Application failed initializing properly (0xc0150002) Click OK to terminate application.
As a remedy to the issue, I removed the PowerPoint and add it back again. But still the same error occurred. I also disabled all the applications of Microsoft Office and then re-installed it again. Then rebooted my computer and reload the PowerPoint again. However, the same error appeared.
I need help.
Error in loading Microsoft PowerPoint
Hi,
First of all, if you install Microsoft Office on Windows XP Service Pack 1, you should do this method:
-
Repair of Window XP Operating System. Not removing the old Windows XP while re-installing another new one. Updating Windows XP from home.
-
Next you have to do this method to resolve your problem. Operating System should be updated also Office online. Download right visual c++ package of redistribution for the OS from Microsoft website and install it.
-
Another thing is, you have already rebooted your computer as well as deleted all application still error occurred, It might be a virus issue. This virus action could cause improper running of an application. You may install a good kind of Anti – virus on your computer then scan your all drives.
-
Re-install your Microsoft Office again. Check then if your problem is Ok now.

Error in loading Microsoft PowerPoint
There could be three possible solution for your problem:
-
First is having the repair method using your Windows OS installation CD. Note that repair is the process of re-installing your Operating System without loosing anything. The repair feature of Windows only copies missing files, particularly the system files that is essential for loading applications. To perform the repair. Please visit this link.
-
Second is to perform a system restore. This method will allow you to chose the last time that your PowerPoint is still operational. To perform the system restore, please proceed to this link for more details.Â
Â
-
Lastly, if you want to have a fresh installation of your PowerPoint, you may download the Perfect Uninstall. Having the default uninstalled in Windows control panel will leave some dump files in the registry and this will become a problem in the future installation of your PowerPoint.
Â
-
Uninstall first your PowerPoint using the Perfect Uninstalled to remove the whole program completely together with the associated files in the registry which is the software's feature and install back your PowerPoint.
