The offline mode in Microsoft Office Outlook is automatic. When you are working in Microsoft Office Outlook and you lost internet connection, the application will shift automatically to offline mode. But when your internet connection goes back online again, Microsoft Office Outlook should automatically go back to online mode.

Now, if you want to stay or keep working in offline mode even if your internet connection is working, click “Send/Receive” then select “Work Offline”. To shift between online and offline mode, just check this button. If “Work Offline” is highlighted, it means Microsoft Office Outlook is running in offline mode.

But if this option is not highlighted, it means Microsoft Office Outlook is running in normal mode or online mode.
