Best Specs for Graphic Design laptop

Hello,

I will be buying a laptop very soon to use for my graphic Design career. I normally work with heavy graphics for construction designs and simple graphics like logos and print media. What do you think is the best laptop for such work? Currently I have some software that will be installed which includes Corel Draw, CAD software and Adobe suite. More recommendations on other graphic software are welcome too.

Best Specs for Graphic Design laptop

Hello,

There are the configurations which are useful for graphic design listed below.

1. You will need a multicore processor which is 2 GHz or faster to work with high graphics.

2. You need to use as much ram as you can fit it on your laptop in Windows 64 bit. If you have enough ram you can work faster.

3. Use a fast and also a large hard disk. You can also use Solid state disk (SSD). This is also an important thing.

4. You should keep your video adapter driver updated to the latest version.

5. Use more external graphics card (1/2 GB) with 1 GB internal. This will help you much better.

Here some of the laptop names that are suitable for your work.

1. You can use the HP Envy series laptop.
2. HP Probook but this is not the latest one.
3. Mac book is one of the best laptop for graphics work. You can choose one that is suitable for you.
4. You can use Samsung ATIV Book 7 or any other high configuration ultrabook.
5. You can also use Dell XPS 15 this is also a good one.

Hello, you can go for the Mac Pro book, it has a very high pixel.15 million pixels, It has the best clarity for such kind of a job. Its memory is expandable. For basic designing you can use programs by Corel,Adobe and Auto Desk

However, for 3D animation movies you can use soft wares like:-

1. Auto Desk Maya
2. Daz 3D
3. STRATA

Finally there are the ones which are used for games 3D platform engines:-

1. Blender 3d
2. Gmax
3. Terragen
