Windows OS
Hello experts,
My operating system is Windows XP with Service Pack 2. I am here to ask a question, for the solution of a technical problem (being faced by me). My issue is that, I am willing to prevent a specific program from starting automatically (when Windows start).
Frankly, I would love to tell you that while using AVG free Antivirus and Windows XP personal firewall, I wished to turn-off all the functions of my secondary Security Suite (which I had installed earlier than AVG) without uninstalling this program. And my issue is that, I have not been successful so far to stop its functionality and to disable it from the list of auto start-up programs or applications.

Hi.
I have been using Microsoft Windows 7, for the last three years but now, I am having a new issue while trying to re-install it. Actually, I have been trying to help a friend to re-install Windows 7 on her personal laptop.
While doing it, all went fine until its activation and that was the point where we realized that the label containing the product key had been damaged very badly and was illegible.
I tried to activate again and again by trying different figures for almost 5 times but the issue was not variable I guess. I have tried almost all possible things to fix this issue but have not been able to activate the Windows yet.

Hi folks,
I have got a HP Pavilion Model# dv6700 notebook (Intel Pentium Dual CPU T2370, along with 3 Giga Memory). I have also installed Windows Vista Home Premium on it. But I am facing an issue with it's start-up. In-fact, it was probably performing an update automatically and now it won't start up anymore.
It usually gets to the screen where it says "Configuring updates etc: Stage 4 of 4 – 7% complete" please Do not turn off your computer. But there it hangs for almost 20-35 seconds, then no advancements in the 7%. After that, it just reboots automatically.

The system will reboot in 30 seconds
Windows cannot continue operating due to fatal system error.
Windows was forced to restart.
All unsaved data will be lost.

Hello everybody,
I am here to find a clue about a technical issue, which I am facing for last four days. I have a Dell laptop. I have installed MS windows Vista on my laptop and I am having problem while using it (the problem is only related to C drive). Well, the issue is that my Windows Vista won’t load.
Whenever I want to start my Laptop (after completing the BIOS start-up runway) it does not load further and a still blank page appears.
I am going crazy due to this particular issue because I have done all the things which I could do myself to solve this… Even after trying different tricks I am not been able to succeed. The steps which I took earlier to fix this problem are given below.

I am having troubles installing a software. An error keeps appearing when I tried installing and reinstalling. The error is
Can't run 16-bit windows program. insufficient memory to run this application . Quit one or more windows applications and then try again.
I tried running the application compatibility to launch it but it did not work. I can't figure out what is causing this error to appear on my screen. I don't have any 16-Bit application on my computer. I tried a system file check but not succeeded. I also tried to go back to my restore point, but my last restoration was almost a year ago.
