I am using a Windows XP CD when repairing my PC when it crashed. I took a hard time using this CD, sometimes it does not work. Can you give me another CD and other tools that can repair XP and how to use it.

A few months ago I upgraded my operating system from Windows XP to Win 7 and from MS office 2007 to Microsoft office 2010. I have been using it for some time and everything was fine until quite recently, I tried to print a PowerPoint file with the MS office 2010 but I found out that I could not print larger pages larger than 27X36.

This was when I tried to print 36X50 and 36X56 pages. I tried to print with the other MS office application, and they all work fine. I also searched for updates, but my software was the latest. I also use the latest driver firmware HP T610 of my printer.

Is it that Microsoft office made some changes to the large page size of PowerPoint or there is something wrong with my software or hardware?

Last Month, I formatted my PC because it was not functioning well. There was a virus entered on my computer and the best way to remove it is to reformat my PC. After formatting, when I am using it, there was a message appeared ant it said that there was a part of my local disk corrupted. Windows XP gave some solution to repair.

The solution was is to insert again the Windows XP CD and choose R to repair. I did it many times but unfortunately nothing happens.

I've tried almost every possible remedy I've read over the Internet and still not working. My last resort is to reinstall the operating system which I really don’t like to do! Could it be a virus? Spyware? Or corrupted registry? Is there like an ON/OFF thing for Windows 7 hidden keys?
