Motherboards

The PCI Simple Communications Controller device remains as an Unknown Device in Device Manager even though I have installed all the device drivers for the ASUS P8P67 Deluxe Motherboard. I have detected that the installation of a part of the Bluetooth device driver has failed. Is this creating the problem? How can I resolve the issue?

I am having problems when trying to upgrade BIOS on ASUS P5N-D. I have never tried to do this before. When I downloaded the update and had it put on a FAT32 flash disk the .bin file was found in ezflash 2 when the computer was restarted. The only drives that I see now are drives A and C and for some reason which I don’t know my main drive cannot be found. Drive A was found to be empty and C drive is the CD drive. I am now unable to access the update.

Can someone help me figure out this mess?

My traded Packard Bell Easy Note GN45 Skype Edition laptop get a low constant fan noise instead of the high fast (for about 3 seconds) after the CPU temp goes up and it will cool if it will be turns off.

It has a 30 degrees Celsius when it is in an IDLE MODE without any heavy programs. I already tried the monitor, CPU, HDD and Motherboard degrees to a Speed Fan with a degrees of 45* for the Motherboard, 42* for the HDD and 33* for the CPU.

While I’m playing some heavy games the degrees of the motherboard comes up to 56-58*, 40 on the CPU and 49 on the HDD. The 1 fan of the PC was placed on the CPU. Do you have some help on how could I fix this problem?

I Installed Windows 7 to my new motherboard at first it installed okay but after I shut down and re-start my computer there’s an error appears and I checked it in BIOS.

And also Windows 7 can’t find the hard drive to boot from eventually. I also tried to run my motherboard from a CD but the installation still error because of the compatibility of the Windows 7.

How can I get some updates from a 3rd party site and which ones are legitimate and trustworthy? What would be the solution if the BIOS update wouldn't fix my problem?

Can’t remove programs. I want to get rid of the programs I’ve already uninstalled from the “Add/Remove Programs” list.  I tried uninstalling these programs in Safe Mode and then restored them to an earlier period.  Before, an error pops up and lets me choose if I want to remove the program from the list, but now the error says that the install.log is not found.  I have a lot of such programs on the list.  Please help!

The motherboard I am using indicates that a DDR2 667 memory may be used with it. Does that mean it is the maximum memory for that motherboard? Furthermore I am currently using a DDR2 533 1 GB. Can you tell me if performance would be better if I replace the DDR2 533 1 GB with a CORSAIR DDR2 667 2 GB?
