The computers are shaped into pens of different size having an individual function when combined works like a computer. It is computer system segregated into pieces of pen sized. This technology is known as P-ISM or pen –style networking gadget package developed by NEC, a Japanese technology. It first marked its presence at 2003 ITUTelecom world which was held in Geneva Switzerland.
What comprises of 5 pen PC technology?
P-ISM is a gadget package has five functions
1. CPU Pen
2. Virtual keyboard
3. Camera scanner
4. A small size projector
5. A phone
5 PC Pen technology is inter-connected a through small range of wireless technology and the entire set is connected to the internet through cellular phone function.
Here are the brief understanding of its components:
CPU pen:
one of the pens performs functions of CPU. It is also referred as computer engine.
It uses dual core processor and is compatible with Windows operating system.
Communication pen:
P-ISM phenomenon is used by communication pen. They are connected through tri-wireless models include Bluetooth, cellular and 802.11B/G which are made same in size and kept in a device small as a pen.
LED projector:
The led projector is the monitor. It projects on the screen and size of the projector is an A4.It has screen resolution capacity of approximately 1024*768. It gives pictures of nice quality and good clarity.
Virtual keyboard:
The virtual laser keyboard is the new gadget for PC users.it has a QWERTY arrangement of keys that uses a laser beam emitted by VLK to generate perfect sized operating laser keyboard. It can be smoothly connected to PCs and other handheld devices including tablet PCs.

It can be connected to the appropriate laptop/PC port.
Its setting can be changed by sound. A direction technology that is based on optical recognition mechanism allowing the user to tap on the projected keyboard while generating tapping sounds like the real keyboard.

It is important for any portable device it comes with the battery life of 6+ that can be used for two weeks. These are mostly smaller in size and stays for a long time.
Advantages
It is portable so we can carry it anywhere at any time.
It is feasible.
It system supports Wi-Fi technology.
It produces virtual keyboard and monitor on any smooth surface.
Computing can be done anywhere using the technology.
Disadvantages
It is not clear till now.
It has not well positioned which is necessary for its optimum utilization.
