Hey there,
I want to have my personal server where I can have my sites listed instead of paying a host. I want to know what hardware I need and if it will be possible with minimal RAM. How about RAID cards? I do not know anything about RAID cards. Any suggestions will be helpful. Thank you, guys!

A web server can be hosted by Windows or Linux. Â Actually, there are many software packages available in the market for webserver. And the good news is that some of them are incredibly free. Â If you try doing so, it is better to add MySQL, and also PHP for a complete web hosting package. Â You can look and download it all individually or you could try to look for packages that includes those three.
