I’m trying to perform some batch file in AS400 but I’m having trouble on one of the executed file. It’s giving an undetermined time to execute wherein it suppose to automatically update the VBScript. Can you please help me?

Maybe the problem could be occurring because the file to be processes is not showing, and thus I would advice that you try using something like a trigger file just to indicate that indeed there is a file that needs to be processed. Then you will be also required to use the FTP protocol to transfer the file to a folder that is not secured, and the move the trigger file so as to show the presence of the file to be processed.
When you use the trigger file, it will help in making sure that the file does not attempt transferring the file when it is being written to the folder. So just try that and see if it helps.
