Questions Solved

Every time that I open my PC there's a window that pop's up saying that my Antivirus is out dated. But whenever I clicked on update it just keeps saying that it cannot update.

How can I update my Antivirus?

I have the license till June 2011.

While I was browsing the internet, my computer suddenly restarted. The windows logo and loading bar appears, but afterwards it brings me to a black screen with error similar to this:

We apologize for the inconvenience, but Windows did not start successfully. A recent hardware or software change might have caused this.

Safe mode with networking.

Safe mode with command prompt.

Last Known Good Configuration (your most recent settings that worked).

Start Windows Normally.

Anyone interested to fix the problem please view this post.

My flashdrive has been corrupted. It all started when i went to internet cafe and have some research. I insert the flashdrive onto the USB port of the computer. When i finished and got home I open my computer and check my flashdrive if the files that i have saved was there. When i open the flasdrive, it contains empty files?!!! It shocks me, because all of my important documents are in their and the sad thing also is i did not create a back up file. It really sucks my brain.

I think my flashdrive affected by virus am i right?

If that is so, how can i retrieve the files that are in the flashdrive?

Is there a software that can retrieve the files?

Please answer thanks.

Hi the question I am asking is related to Photoshop CS3 crop tool. Actually I want to crop an area from an image. The crop area is very large in length but pretty small in the width the problem is that the crop tool won’t allow me to crop rectangular areas as the guides are locked to only select areas in specific sizes. I also checked the tool setting but they have options like 5×3 inches and 8×10 inches etc. but there is none that would allow me to crop a thin strip from an image. Can someone help me with this?

Hello everyone!

I have a serious problem here please help me find the problem.

I was installing WINDOWS XP yesterday. I properly boot the boot priority device and successfully loaded the Windows on the desktop. When I install the drivers, the screen prompted me "error" and when I check in the device manager I found this "Intel (R) High Definition Audio HDMI (?)"

What does this mean? Is it the audio driver not compatible with the Windows XP? I really don't get the point of this. I have already searched for the solution thru online but I didn't see possible solutions.

I am using Windows XP service pack 2 in which i have seen a option of a firewall system. And i made it On for my PC security. Now I have a antivirus ESET nod32 version 4.2 which i want to use in My PC. But the question is, Is it necessary to use an antivirus though i have make the firewall ON.

What is the differences between the activity of the firewall and the Antivirus. Which one is best for the security of my PC. What are the Jobs of the Firewall and Antivirus? Can firewall kill any virus? Or resist any virus coming from any other device like Pen-drive, CD or DVD drive?

If firewall does not able to kill any virus then what is its importance? I like to know about all those things please someone describe it so i can understand which one is more important.
