Questions Solved

I’ve been receiving error on Windows XP “Stop: 0x0000000A” message during the installation of Windows XP. I’ve already checked my hardware compatibility with Windows XP. I try to verify my Hardware Compatibility List (HLC) in the site provided by Microsoft http://support.microsoft.com/kb/314062 my hardware is listed on the Windows XP HCL.

Is there any other option to solve this problem? I’ve been using Windows 7 starter before but decide to install XP. I read from the forum with similar issues and recommend in changing the BIOS or CMOS settings but that would be a risk for me since I’m not familiar with this.

There is something wrong with my computer resolution, so I decided to get some answer from the "Help and Support" but when I clicked on it, an error appeared".

"Windows cannot open Help and Support because a system service is not running. To fix this problem, start the service named 'Help and Support'."

What the heck! I’ve encountered another problem without solving the first one. I try to open it also in the RUN by typing Helpcty.exe and I get the same error. I didn't do anything that may have caused this error. As far as I remember I didn't do anything such as changing any configuration settings or some registry files.

I’m setting some page wherein the client can create, delete or modify some records from the database. I’ve included some JavaScript so that when the user chooses one of the option I’ve stated above (create, delete, edit or modify) an alert box will pop-up asking them to confirm that they want to create, delete of modify the file. After I’m done doing the code I try to run it in IE6 but I get JavaScript error message.

I have a Thompson Wireless N router, which is connected to the main PC and two other laptops in the same room with the ports on the back of the router.

I try to extend my network connection into the router ports Thompson to a main Develo AV Home Plug and then second plug picks up the network and is connected to a second wireless router (Netgear WGR614v9). I'm using two ports of the Netgear router to connect my PlayStation 2 3.

I make an update with my XP machine and install a service pack 2.

After a successful update installation reboots my computer. When my team was the shift of noticed that my windows firewall is running.

I try to switch on, but I get this message "due to an unidentified problem, Windows cannot display the Windows Firewall settings' .

I read in a forum that the cause of this error is due to missing or damaged shared access registry key, which represents the Windows Firewall service.

Try to find a solution there.

Download shared access.reg and save to the desktop, double-click on the combination of file the contents of the registry and restart the computer.

Hi,

My computer shuts down and reboots randomly and I keep receiving this error.

Windows Error

Windows has recovered from an unexpected shutdown.

Windows can check online for a solution to the problem.

Most of the time, when I left my PC open with its screen saver on, for a few minutes, it will instantly freeze and the error from Microsoft Windows will appear. It has options to check for online solutions but I can't even move the mouse so all I can do is to force close the whole computer by pressing the power button on its CPU.

I lost my System Restore when my computer was hit by a virus.  It didn't work since then and I am receiving the error above whenever I try to perform this task. I've been searching for solutions online, but no one ever gave me correct and detailed procedures on how to properly fix this.

System Restore
