These errors occur when there is a problem in the Administrator rights, user settings, internets setting or the configuration of the Windows Update setting is not proper.
Method 1 – Follow these steps –
- Go to Start Menu, click on the ‘Control Panel’.
- In the User Accounts and Family Safety, select the option of User Accounts.
- Select to change the account type and enter the password if asked by the system.
- Log off from the system and then after logging back again you have the administrator access to the system, now install the Window Updates again.
Method 2 – you should scan your system for malware and viruses. If you do not have any antivirus installed your system, you can use Microsoft Safety Scanner tool.
