What is the use of the coin operated printer?
Well I just want to know if this is possible to get your stuff printed and paying through inserting a coin.
I am just wondering if how can this be done and the purpose, advantages and disadvantages of this kind of software application.

Your Idea seems to be very interesting these printer can be set up like telephone booths. People can use their mobile devices to get a printout of their documents on the go.
They may connect their mobile devices to the printer via Bluetooth or a USB cable Interface and get a printout of their documents on demand.

Quarky idea indeed. I believe it can be done. First way, have a real physical printer that accepts coins and then prints a page, just like an old phone booths or vending machines.
Alternatively, you can have a separate device that accepts coins and it in turn connected to a printer, for example, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xKRs8di4GSU
The second way would be to use a software interface, such that which you press print an interface is brought where you insert a "soft coin", like on some games. Of course, you must have a way of purchasing those coins.
Advantages include: The software would provide an automated way for accepting payments, say for cyber-cafes, or for self-service printing services.
Disadvantages, its open for exploitation.
Someone will find a way to circumvent the software and print for free.
