Error Code 31: Sign up Error on Windows Live Messenger

Hi,

I have a problem using Windows Live Messenger. After I installed the client software of Windows Live Messenger, I sign up for a new account.

After filling in those necessary fields and confirming the code, I encounter an error that displays, we can't sign with you, check your internet connection.

We are working to fix a temporary problem with our sign-up service.

Please try again.

Error code: 31

Error code: 31:0x00000000:: Wed, 07 Nov 2007 08:05:39 GMT

As what the error message says, I checked my internet connection, there is no problem since I can view some online web pages. I restarted my internet connection so as my computer, the error still displayed. When I repeated the sign up process, I don't know now what's the problem. Since I have already checked on the possible causes of the problem,

Error Code 31: Sign up Error on Windows Live Messenger

Since you are trying to create a log in information for your Windows Live Messenger, I suggest to please optimize your browser or Clear your temporary internet files. 

 

Since you did not specify the browser that you use, please select in the browser below and follow the corresponding steps below:

 

For Internet Explorer:

 

1. Please open your Internet Explorer, please click on Tools.

2. Please select on Internet options.

3. From the pop up window, please go to the General tab.

4. Please click on the Delete Files button from the Temporary Internet files section.

5. Please click on the OK button.

6, Finally, Please click on the OK button.

 

For Mozilla Firefox:

 

1. Once your browser is up, please click on Tools.

2. Please click on Options.

3. From the small pop up window, please go to Cache tab and click on the Clear Cache Now button.

4. Please click on OK button.
