Hi experts,

I have an Acer laptop running Windows Vista. Since I installed Rainlender on it, I get an error message whenever I start my laptop. It says Rainlender was not able to refresh the settings correctly.

Is there a way to solve this error without removing Rainlender?

Error – The configuration file is not writable:

C:Program FilesRainlendar2rainlendar2.ini

Make sure that it has correct permissions. You won’t be able to store any settings permanently.

Hi Hunter

To avoid seeing this error message in starting your computer you should disable Rainlendar from start up.

To do that click windows and type in the run box msconfig and a pop up will show, click on start up and uncheck Rainlendar.

Then it will prompt you to restart your computer and once it restart your problems are solved.
