Tabs Studio conflicts with Document Well 2010 Plus

Hi there,

I have this error with Tabs Studio and I don’t know how this can be fixed. I never experienced errors with this program and I am stuck for two days with. Is there anyone online who can help me to fix this error? Why I have this error and can I prevent this happening in the future?

Tabs Studio conflicts with Document Well 2010 Plus

Tabs Studio may conflict with installed Document Well 2010 Plus.

Please turn Document Well 2010 PIus off in Visual Studio Tools menu – Options – Productivity Power Tools.

Tabs Studio conflicts with Document Well 2010 Plus

The Document Well 2010 Plus is a tab extension and part of the Productivity Power Tools for Microsoft Visual Studio 2010. By default, Tabs Studio conceals the tabs for Document Well 2010 Plus as well as other original Microsoft Visual Studio tabs. So, since Tabs Studio automatically hides Document Well 2010 Plus tabs, it is just right to turn it off.

To do this, start Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 then go to Tools, Options, and then select Productivity Power Tools on the left panel. Switch Document Well 2010 Plus to off and then click OK. It should fix the problem. See image.

You can always leave Document Well 2010 Plus activated and just allow it to interfere with Tabs Studio but for developers, you might encounter some conflicts if this extension is left activated. Additionally, the Document Well 2010 Plus extension is set to on by default that’s why if you don’t configure it, it will surely trigger a conflict with Tabs Studio.
