Hi. I want to learn the steps which need to be followed so as to solve my doubt as to how do I get a digital id. Also, how can I delete the self-created digital id? Thanks in advance.
Hi. The steps to follow as to how do I get a digital idand create a digital id are-
1) Click on edit then preferences and then select signatures
2) Click on identities and trusted certificates. Then click on more
3) Click on digital Ids on the left and then select the add Id button
4) Click on the option “a new digital Id I want to create now” and then click on next
5) Navigate to the location where you want the digital id to be stored and click on next
6) Type all the personal information that is asked for the creation of the digital Id. The signature field is where the signature appears if the digital Id is signed
7) Select a key algorithm to generate the Id
8) Select if you wish the digital Id for signatures or data encryption from the Use digital Id for menu
9) Type a password for the digital Id file. Confirm the password by entering it again.
The steps to delete a digital Id are-
1) Click on edit then preferences and then signatures.
2) Click on identities and trusted certificates. Then click on more
3) On the left, click on digital Ids and then click on the digital Id to remove the Id
4) Click on remove Id and then click on OK
