I have posted some shockwave movies online. It played well before but now it is sending me an error stating:
Shockwave Error
This Shockwave movie has error that have caused playback problems. Please contact the author of this content regarding this problem.
Shockwave is unable to continue.
The problem will start when accessing the shockwave movie for few hours then if I waited and visit the site again, the error is gone and the movie will load without issues. However, next time I visit again, the error is once again existed. How can I fix it?
Shockwave Movie has caused playback problems
First thing you should do is to check if your Adobe Shockwave Player is working on your computer. You can do a test on the player by visiting Test Adobe Shockwave Player. Wait for the page to be displayed. You should see the animation on the page playing and if it does then you are sure that your Adobe Shockwave Player is properly installed.
But in case the animation doesn’t play or the page doesn’t display any animation like in my case [because I don’t have Adobe Shockwave Player installed on my computer] then you need to update your player. To properly make the update, first, download and install the latest version of your web browser. Once your web browser has been upgraded, download the latest available web player from Adobe Shockwave Player.
