Serious Sam 2 Game Launching Problem

Hi, I operated Ubuntu last night. I saw a list of game which are  supported of Linux.

I see the action fantasy game 'Serious Sam 2'. I setup the game and now that game is saying unsupported version.

I go to site and forums but they all appreciated the game as a Linux supported game. Is anything missing on the game.

It's launch window appear for some seconds and then show me the command 'Unsupported Version'.

Other friends of mine are using the same OS and playing it without any problem. Is there any solution?

It's the starting View of the Game.

It disappears after a while.

Serious Sam 2 Game Launching Problem

Hi,

Serious Sam 2 is a game which must be played in windows, Linux, Ubuntu.

Yes you are right about your friends. Serious Sam 2 can be played in Ubuntu 9 or 10. Even I am using Ubuntu and playing Serious Sam 2 second encounter without any problem. I just installed it and started playing. I don’t faced problem like that.

You can uninstall this game and remove it from your computer and then use a CD or DVD for reinstall a fresh copy opf game. Then try to play it. You can also use internet for some kind of missing plug-in or something like that.

Serious Sam 2 Game Launching Problem

It will not pop up the message "Unsupported Version" if your system really supports the game.

I also have Serious Sam on my PC, the first version. I can’t stand the game it’s quite irritating in the eye because of the intensity of the colors. My eyes always ache.

If you want to play a game, be investigative and know first the game’s Minimum System Requirements.

Check the setup files if there is a readme file or any file that can be opened by a text editor or a Word document. Open it and check if the System Requirements are listed there.

All games have a readme file or any file that lists the game’s Minimum System Requirements.

You will know there if your Operating System is compatible with the game.
