I loved Ubuntu until i got this problem

every time i try to boot Ubuntu. i get an "Out Of Range" error. Meaning that it has something to do with my graphics capabilities, but my graphics card is fairly new, and i installed the drivers through the Ubuntu menu.

My Graphics card is ATI: Radeon HD 4350. and help will be awesome, because i really don't want to uninstall Ubuntu and reinstall it.

It takes about 4-5 hours just to download the updates.

Please help

Dear zara,

I understand the problem of waiting up to 4 to 5 hours and its very much difficult to sit free in front of computer for that much long time and your problem is not with the system but here the problem is of graphics card.  No doubt you have a new card and as you told that card is an awesome one but my friend there is a problem of machines that some of the machines don’t able to support that chips which we like the most and for of this we have to accept the change. You have two choices and first one is that you can change your operating system and then install the new which supports your that graphics card and I know it is difficult for you and also little bit costly. Another convenient way is that you can change your graphics card and purchase a new one but make sure this time that the card must support that operating system. After this change you will surely fix your problem and then again you can’t find that error message.

CHEERS.
