Hello experts! I am currently running Windows 7 Ultimate on my PC. Yesterday, I saw a few updates queued in my PC, but when I began the installation, last two updates failed and a message Windows 7 update error code 80072EE2 displayed on my computer screen. Hey! You can resolve this error by following the procedure given below:

  • Start from the start
  • Go to Windows registry editor ( type ‘regedit’ in run box).
  • Search for the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate
  • Get rid of WVserver and WIStatusServer keys.
  • Now, go to services and select Windows Update.
  • Restart your PC.
