I was trying to copy a file from one hard drive to the second drive on my PC. Now when I looked all the data is only on one drive and the other one is empty. How can I fix this and have the data divided again on two drives?
It seems that by mistake you selected all the fies and pasted / transferred to annother drive. Now as you said, all the files are stored in one drive only, select the files you want to store at the other drive and simply paste them to the desired location. This should work fine this way.
If your hard drive is working fine in one machine, then your hard drive is working perfectly fine. It seems that the USB port in the second machine is not responding. Did you try to use another USB port? Try to use the USB port on the back side of your system, as they are generally high in bandwidth.
