I have installed Linux Mint 9 Isadora every now and then I get a windows crash the same behavior when we do Ctrl+Alt+backspace.

I have no idea how to fix this problem, this is very disturbing because all my unsaved data is lost after the crash.

It is possible that Linux Mint 9 Isadora was not properly installed. Even if the installation was successful, maybe it encountered a problem during the installation that resulted to an incomplete installation but did not generate an on-screen error.

It is also possible that your hardware configuration is not compatible with Linux Mint 9 Isadora.

To further supply you with additional information about Linux Mint 9 Isadora, here are its system requirements:

  • x86 processor for 32-bit and 64-bit versions
  • x86_64 compatible processor for 64-bit versions
  • 512 MB RAM
  • 3 GB free hard disk space
  • Video card with 800 x 600 screen resolution capability
  • CD/DVD drive or USB port

Check your devices if it is compatible with the information listed above.

If your hardware seems pretty much compatible, try formatting your hard drive again and install Linux Mint 9 Isadora.
