Help in Mac Lion set up wake on lan

Hi,

I am trying to use mac lion set up wake on lan but the technical points are out of my understanding, so I need some one to help me on setting up mac lion set up wake on lan.

Help in Mac Lion set up wake on lan

Hello there, 

Setting up LAN is not really a major problem for mac users. Nevertheless, here's an easy to follow tutorial for you:

1. Click on the "Apple" logo on the top left side of your screen and select "System Preferences"

2. Go to "Network" and click "Advanced".  

3. From the drop down menu select "Using DHCP with Manual Address" and then Enter the IP address that you are trying to set up. 

4. Click the "Ok" button once done and you can see that your IP was changed and then click "Apply" to finish.
