Hi Stephanie,

This problem simply means that you are running a Windows OS which has a different architecture (32 or 64-bit) than that of your Upgrade CD's Windows. The other reason may also be that your current WIndows System Version has been updated (perhaps to Service Pack 1) while the CD's Windows is an older Version. To solve your problem, you should restart your computer with the CD in the tray and Press a key to boot from the CD when the prompt comes in the boot screen. FOllow the instructions in the Setup Screen to Update or Repair your WIndows.

Hello Stephanie ! Good day !

This is the simple problem. It's mean that the OS which is installed in your system have not compatibility with inserted OS CD, i.e. may be your installed version is 32bit and the version your trying to install is 64 bit and vice versa. If you want to install OS, then restart your PC and go to the boot menu. From there you can select boot from cdrom and select the custom setting, don't use upgrade because you cannot upgrade the installed version. Hope this will work.

Thanks.
