Hi Ynna,
If you are unable to enable the wireless connection using the Function shortcut, you may need to do it manually.
You may need to first check if the wireless card adapter is enabled as it may have been disabled which causes the problem. To check, go to Start > Settings > Control Panel > System > Hardware > Device Manager > Look for Network Adapters > Click on the plus sign to expand the list > Look for your wireless adapter. Make sure that the adapter is all okay and no yellow question mark or red x mark on it. If there is, try to disable and update the drivers.
You then need to go to your wireless connections. To do that, go to Start > Settings > Control Panel > Network connections and look for the wireless connection and enable it.

Hello Ynna,
Can you please tell me your wireless driver model?. If it is Realtek RTL8191SE Wireless LAN then you can fix problem by installing latest drivers for it. You can find the drivers on this website. Moreover, if that doesn't solve your problem there are other people with same problem and have written about it on the Toshiba support forum. One of these numerous solutions can work for you. I suggest you read the forum carefuly here. Also, have you tried to contact Toshiba support about this over the phone or with your nearest Toshiba Customer Support Center ? I suggest you do it if you can't solve this on your own.
I hope that was helpful.
Abe.
