Hi Ashley Glick,

That is pretty simple. Follow the below steps.
  • First, Close is currently opening Outlook window.
  • Go to Control Panel and click on Mail button.
  • Click on Email Accounts.
  • It will take you to the Outlook Account settings page. Here, create a new account(any name you wish) and after creating it, make it as the default one. Then you need to remove every other profiles available.

Now, your folders will be clean and empty.

Hope it helps.

As of this time, there is no option yet to reset Outlook. All you can do is to delete that profile and create a new one. Click Start, Go to Control Panel, Mail or Users and Accounts, Delete.

You can now create a new profile.

You may try this too:

Click Start, Go to User Accounts, Open Mail Setup, Select the profile to be remove. Click Remove.

If that doesn’t work you can instead try to uninstall and reinstall Outlook or simply reconfigure Outlook.

If you need to reset Microsoft Office Outlook back to factory settings like when you first run it, here’s how to do it. Click “Start”, “Control Panel” then “Mail”. If you don’t see this, set view to “Small icons”. In “Mail Setup” dialog, click “Show Profiles”. On the next screen, in “Mail” dialog, click “Add”. In “New Profile” dialog, enter a name for the new profile then click “OK”.

In “Add Account” dialog, click “Cancel” to close it then “OK”. Now, back in “Mail” dialog, select “Always use this profile” then select the new profile name you created from the dropdown list. Click “OK” then close the Control Panel. After this, when you start Microsoft Office Outlook, it will show you again the Outlook welcome screen like when you first run it.

Note: resetting Microsoft Office Outlook back to factory defaults will remove all account information. To undo the resetting, go back to “Mail” dialog then select your original profile under “Always use this profile”.
