In my computer I use ubuntu OS. I use a camera (model: Fujifilm Finepix F40fd). When I connect my camera to my PC and try to open it then I first receive the following error message-
Unable to mount Fuji Photo Film Co., LTD FinePix F40fd (PTP)
DBus error org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply: Message did not receive a reply (timeout by message bus)
OK
And another window shortly afterwards saying:
Â
Â
Unable to mount Fuji Photo Film., Ltd FinePix F40fd (PTP)
Error initializing camera: -60: Could not lock the device.
OK
What is the problem? Anybody can help me?
Camera doesn’t mount when connected and switched on

Open the terminal, type this:
sudo chmod -x /usr/lib/gvfs/gvfs-gphoto2-volume-monitor
Enter your administrator password and you'll be fine.
If this doesn't work try to type this instead (don't forget to unplug your camera first):
sudo killall gvfs-gphoto2-volume-monitor
Then plug your camera and it should work.
Another thing you could do is instead of plug in the camera try to use your SD card reader instead, if it can't read your memory card there's a problem with it and you should buy a new one.
One of these solutions should work and fix your problem, if these doesn't work there's probably something wrong with your camera, you should check if it works in other operating systems or not.
