I am trying to download Adobe Digital Reader but get this error message “Unable to download”. I have tried every way to resolve this kind of error but could not understand how to fix it. I hope you can help to remove this problem. Thanks!

I think Adobe Digital Reader refers to Adobe Digital Editions. Since you are experiencing a problem when downloading it on a Mac PC, you have two options where to download it: one is from the Adobe website, and two from the Apple App Store. To download from the Adobe website, visit Adobe Digital Editions on Adobe Website. There are two versions: for OS X and for Windows.
Since you are using OS X, select the OS X version. To download from the Apple App Store, visit Adobe Digital Editions on Apple App Store. Latest version for both Mac and Windows is version 4.5.1. With Adobe Digital Editions, you can open “.acsm” files to download eBooks. The file normally used to download eBooks is called “URLLink.acsm”.
It can’t be opened by any other program except Adobe Digital Editions. Also take note, the “URLLink.acsm” file should not be renamed to any other name because it won’t download the eBook.
