Whenever I take out my laptop, It seems that its really hard for me to play games in 3d- the graphics are all blotched and the response time is slow. But whenever I take it home it is always good. Is it a coincidence?

I'm sorry to hear that you are having problems with playing 3D games on your laptop.
It is not really weird that it plays slow outside.Â
The laptop (the more powerful the video card is) requires more power to function.Â
The reason why it is slow when you are out is most likely because it is not plugged in on a power source aside from your battery. Which is why whenever you are at home, the tendency is that you will plug the laptop in and from there you'd see a significant improvement.Â

Try this out: Bring your laptop power cable outside and plug it in when you are playing those games. You will notice that its better and faster than what you've been accustomed to (when you are outside).

Check the following to determine the problem:
1. Ensure that your computer meets the system requirements needed for the game.
2. Perform a restart when you are experiencing problem.
3. Check if you have installed any MODS. If there is, remove it. If this will fix the issue, you can put the MODs back again.
4. Ensure that there are no other tasks running on the background such as downloading files or scanning your system.
5. Update your DirectX to the recent version. It is important that you keep it up-to-date.
6. Update your video and sound card drivers to the latest version.
7. Reinstall the game. Maybe it becomes corrupted when installing or playing it.
