Hi Elija,

One of the main problem in your HP Designjet 1050c Inkjet Printer is its firmware.

You can try to solve it by resetting the sim of your printer. It is behind the small panel in the back of the plotter.

If you cannot locate the sim just check this user manual: to guide you for you to find the sim.

Just reset all the sim there and try to use again the printer and see if it works or function properly.

If not, you will have to purchase a new sim for your printer to make your printer function properly.

Error 04Cxxx (04C300 00240000) in HP printer is an EIO Accessories error or an error related to the EIO Card/Hard Disk Drive of the printer. If you encounter this error, try this. Press Enter then turn off the printer.

If the hard disk drive of the printer is installed, remove it then make sure the EIO card is installed correctly by pushing it inwards firmly then check the two installation screws if they are tight. After this, turn on the printer then see if this works. If this doesn’t work and the error still appears, you need to replace the EIO card.

But if it works, turn off the printer and install the hard disk back then make sure again the installation screws are tight. Turn on the printer then check if the error comes back.
