Windows OS
My father reformatted his Windows XP PC because of slow performance caused by many computer viruses when he realized to upgrade the OS into Vista Home Edition Service Pack 2. In the middle of the installation process, he got this error message “ERROR_CRC (0X80070017).”

My cousin and I attempted to install Vista SP2 but it stopped the installation process because it found out that I have no enough space for my drive C anymore. Therefore, I tried to move my File directory to Drive D but this error appeared “The system cannot move the file to a different disk drive: Error_Not_Same_Device (0X80070011).”
And so, I deleted some file contents in the Drive C and allocated enough space for Vista SP2 but the same error had occurred. Any valuable help please? I believed the problem was caused by low disk space issue but I do not have any idea on how I can get started to rectify a solution.
Thanks a lot for the help.

When I connect the External Hard Drive to my computer, it says "Unrecognized USB Device". Sometimes, I also get errors like, "the USB Device is not recognized". But by disconnecting it and re-connecting, it solves the problem.
I don’t feel that this would be possible to me all the time, spending time by unplugging and reconnecting, to make it function properly. So here, I am really looking for someone, who can help me out with a solution for this problem.

I received this error message after I have installed the Windows 98 from MS-DOS “Packed File Corrupt.” In the middle of the installation process after the scandisk, the installation set-up started copying the files to the hard drive but it was blocked by the error message. The set-up forced the process to go back to MS-DOS prompt.

Thanks for your help. I started my HP laptop with Windows 7 64 bit installed on it but during the middle of the booting process, there was an error message appeared on the screen saying.
“Microsoft (C) Register Server has stopped working. ” I visited the customer service website for Windows Vista and they suggested some points on how I could fix the problem. And so, I followed the directions that the customer support team had instructed to me. I turned on the Data Execution Program (DEP) for all programs and added the Regsvr32 on it. Afterwards, I restarted my laptop but unexpectedly, the same error had occurred.
I hope you can help me. Thank you.

A friend of mine who has a PC with Windows XP installed on it had encountered a blue screen error code that appeared on the screen “ STOP 0x000000ED (0xaaaaaaaa,0xbbbbbbbb,0xcccccccc,0xdddddddd)UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME .“ According to him, this problematic event of his PC happened when he reloaded the fail-safe settings of the BIOS.
We researched on how we can get started to solve the issue. One of the websites that we have visited instructed us to perform check disk with instructions included on how to do it but miserably, it didn’t work. Please give me enlightenment on how the changed setting of the BIOS had affected to make this problem arise on my PC.
Thank you so much for your help.

I had bought a PC from a very close friend with two operating systems installed within, Windows XP and Windows 7. The Windows XP was installed to Drive C while the Windows 7 was installed to Drive D.
I decided to remove the Windows XP because I didn’t realize the necessity of using two operating systems at the same time for performance reason. While the process of removing Windows XP was about to end, my PC restarted and this kind of error had occurred
“ERROR READING DISK INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER. ”

I cannot use my desktop for some reason. It won't boot up. My Operating System is Windows Vista. The CPU is just manually built up by my brother's friend. It has been three years that I am using this computer and just a month ago, from Operating System of XP.
I finally decided to switch to Windows Vista. I think, I should not have because I am now experiencing this issue.
I am not sure if Vista is prone to Ntfs.sys error, but I encountered this from switching to it. Just thinking about the hassle in reformatting once again, transferring files and thinking of files that I was not able to save makes me weak.
Is there any other way to solve this without the reformat?

Problem / Question:
I am just making a simple reboot then restarted my unit then ended up with receiving this error: "Unknown BIOS Error : FFFF". This happened after changing my power supply unit after detecting a power failure with my old power supply. I can still reach the BIOS settings but this error keeps showing upon startup.

This happens randomly, without warnings, without error messages or alert messages. I am currently running Windows XP Professional Service Pack 3.
More specifically, this happen upon opening my computer. Sometimes, I can be able to reach up to my desktop and my system will work perfectly fine. Just the normal thing. But most often, it won't. After loading the POST it stops with a black, blank screen. All I can see is a blinking cursor line at the top of it.
