I cannot run any program on my Windows XP computer.
I am receiving a bad image error when trying to access any of my programs. The most common error that I am receiving is stating: “The application or DLL C:WINDOWSsystem32xxxxxx.dll is not a valid Windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette.”
This error pop ups randomly and if I hit the OK button, I can be able to run my programs successfully.
I already tried scanning my whole system for possible threat or viruses, spyware and malware, but there are no malicious threats on my PC.
I also run the Windows XP installation disk and tried to repair my system but it did not help.
How can I resolve this issue?

I have lot of Visual Basic source codes which was developed in Windows XP system. I have transferred all codes to a Windows 7 system and it is working properly and can create the ‘.exe’ file. But the problem is that ‘.exe’ file is only working in the Windows 7 system.
It is not running in the Windows XP system. Most of my clients are using Windows XP only. Further I have transferred the forms to Windows XP machine and created the ‘.exe’ file. It is working properly in Windows XP machine. As I want to change my OS to Windows 7 this problem should be solved.
Please help me to solve the issue. Please help me to get out this problem.

I am using the 64 bit Standard Windows Server 2008. I am facing a problem with the view of ‘Event Viewer’.
When I am clicking on Event Viewer’ an error message is getting which says that ‘the event log service is not available’.
I have confirmed that the service is running properly. Also when I click on start in Windows Event log it also gave me an error message which says ‘the Windows Event Log service cannot be started’.
The instance name which had passed is not recognizing as valid by the ‘WMI’ data provider. Even the troubleshooting could not solve the problem.
It will be great if anybody can help me to solve this problem.

The problem happened when I have used the ‘Data transfer Excel add in’ feature for downloading the file through ‘dtf’ file. The problem was numeric value had changed to 40, 50, and 60 in Excel from the original value of 4, 5 and 6.
