I try to upgrade my Ubuntu 11.04 (Natty Narwhal) and My VMware Workstation 7.1.3 was working rightly but the upgrade stopped running and kept showing the following error message when I am attempting to compile the modules with its latest Kernel:

“Unable to Build Kernel Module see log file /tmp/vmware-root/setup-7357.log for details.” Here is a screen shot of an error:

At first I set up Ubuntu 10.04.3, and after that I try to set up CCS5.

I need help in installing LCS/OCS in Ubuntu which contains firewall (ISA). I have tried installing using two options.

The first one was by downloading it from Sourceforge and then installing it.

The second method was through “sudo apt-get install pidgin-sipe”. The installation goes on well without any problems, but I’m unable to create the accounts after I launch the application.

I could not find the “Microsoft LCS OCS” in protocol list.

Please help me.

I’m trying to install the latest version of LibreOffice using the Ubuntu Software Centre but it can’t find the correct files to install the program. This is indicated by an error message stating that LibreOffice can’t be installed even though it was downloaded and extracted.

Usually when I use the Software Centre to install software I am required to enter my password followed by a Authenticate or Cancel message box popping up but now regardless which option I choose I need to manually close the box and the software starts to install.

How can I stop these error messages so I can successfully install LibreOffice?

I’m currently using Model 2.0.2 on my Ubuntu server 10.04 and have been attempting to connect my Dropbox account using the repositories. I can get the keys, set up the repository, login, view my files and folders in my Dropbox account but when I try to save a file after selecting it I get an error message saying "Can not read file, either file does not exist or there are permission problems".

I have given the Dropbox app full access to my Dropbox account.

How can I fix this error message so that I save my files?

I’m attempting to install celtx on my new Ubuntu server. When I try to run /celtx from the terminal I receive an error that says that the file libstdc++.so.5 can’t be found and libstdc++.so.6 is a more recent file version. To install a computer file that somebody has linked I tried using yum but yum has stated that it needs the celementtree.

I have tried to reinstall clementtree using synaptic but this has not worked. I urgently need to install celtx but also need to solve the issues I am having with celementtree and yum. Can someone help me?
