Hello experts,

When I try to install CCS-5.0.1.00026-Sitara-ARM I get the following error message.

At first I set up Ubuntu 10.04.3, and after that I try to set up CCS5.

But the installation breaks because of this "Install DSP/BIOS 5" message:

Application Error

Error: Error in action ExecuteAction

Error in action ExecuteAction

Error in action ExecuteAction

…

"$obj execute"

(procedure "::InstallJammer::ExecuteActions" line 62

)

invoked from within

"::InstallJammer::ExecuteActions $id -when $when"

(procedure "::InstallJammer::RaiseEventHandler" line

79)

invoked from within

"::InstallJammer::RaiseEventHandler       .wizard"

(command bound to event)

OK                   Skip Message            Save To Log

This is log file:

2526 ccs error log

I need a solution. Please help me.

Thanks.

I think you forgot to check the system requirements of the application you are installing. This is very important especially if you are installing a major program on your machine. If you downloaded the program you are installing, visit again the website where you downloaded the installer and check for the application’s technical specifications there. It should be included on the application’s page.

You may also try doing a clean installation of the program to try another shot at it. If you are on the process of installing it, cancel the present operation then reboot your machine. After booting, check your computer first for any possible errors. Use a disk utility application to check the system. For a much thorough diagnostics test on your machine, use a disk utility application like Norton Utilities. Launch again the installer and follow the succeeding instructions.
