Storage
Hi everyone!
I was using Mozy for the past 7 days. After 8 daily backups, Mozy reported,
Connection Error3: Mozy Error. More than 7 days had passed since the last successful backup.
My Internet connection is working just fine. I tried to start a backup manual now, but it is stuck at "Communicating with Mozy Home servers".
Can someone help me out with this?
Here is a picture of the error to better describe my problem.
Thanks in advance.

When I plugged my USB flash/Pen drive into my computer supposedly it will open automatically, but in my case I need to browse it manually to “My Computer” to be able to open its content. I don’t know how this happens.
I think it’s because of AVG but I’m not sure of it.
How can I enable again the auto play of removable media?
I am using Windows XP.

I have two issues with some files. I want to delete a file, but whenever I try to delete it, the computer response is “the file cannot be deleted because it is being used by another program”. I have no other running program, that is why I am confused which program is preventing me from removing/deleting the file.
Second issue is that I have a file that after I delete and exit the folder which contains the same file, if I go back to the folder, it is still there. I will again delete it, but it doesn’t go away. The file has no use for me because it contains no data.

Hi,
I have a pen drive of my friend. He asked me to copy all the files inside his pen drive. When I open it, I see a background image in the pen drive. It was like a desktop having a wall paper. I was thinking to put a picture in my pen drive also but I cannot find anything on the web that works. Is it also possible to change the text color of files in pen drive?
Thanks.

Hello,
Seeking to secure my computer data, I plugged my Mac Mini in the local network to perform an automatic backup Time Machine to all of my Mac and PC and i am confused.
Apple's website states that automatically Time Machine backups of all existing Mac on the network. Is it possible to circumvent this limit?
Thank you!

Hi all,
I have an Imation USB with 495 MB capacity. I know that the USB does not have any files inside it, but when I checked the properties it shows that, it is not.
I thought that maybe there are hidden files on the drive. So what I did was, to show the hidden files by going to folder options and changing the view settings to show all hidden files, drives and folders. But I did not find anything hidden.
I also tried emptying the recycle bin from my desktop. It didn't work either. My last resort was to reformat the USB. After the reformat, I thought it will fix the problem, but it didn't.

Hi folks,
The problem is that, when I turn on my computer, the Windows XP logo appears with the colored dots scroll, then eventually goes off. The CPU fan seems to sound noisy, then it reboots. Later on, it's back to the same spot and reboots all over again. When I turned on the safe mode, it did the same thing. When I used an XP boot disk, still, nothing happened. It goes on continuously.
Please help.
Thank you.

Hello Everyone,
Recently, I've purchased a new Dell PC with Core I 3 Processor, 4 GB Ram and 500 GB HDD. Though it's a branded PC and comes up with a 500 HDD, I wanted to upgrade it with 2 TB HDD. Actually, I want to set it up as a file server in my office with Linux OS. As we are a development agency, we need to store huge documents. That's why, I have to set it up as a file server.
My problem is, after setting up my 2 TB HDD with my system, I entered it to BIOS, but it didn't find the HDD. Is there any solution to support my 2 TB HDD with my system?
Please help me.
Thanks!

I am a newbie here guys and I have a great problem with my PC. Recently, when I was trying to start my PC, a message has popped out. The message says that there is a boot sector error and need the disk to setup or recover. Then, I tried to recover it with Ubuntu live CD and I saw that there is only one partition there. That even applies to my total hard disk.
What should I do?
Thanks friends.
